An Employee informed a member of the Security staff that she was going to take her driver's license test soon, the Employee had been driving on the Employer's property and parking for over a month. The Security Officer reported to the Security Supervisor that this employee was driving without a license and parking on company property.

The supervisor stated there was nothing the company could do about it and that the employer could not stop the employee from coming to work in her car, even if it was known she didn't have a valid Ohio driver's license. What is the correct answer here?

  1. there's nothing you can do about it because it's her own car not the company's. they're not liable

  2. What you should do since this is illegal is call the police and let them take care of this because if she has an accident then what happens to the person that she hits, she needs to be stopped..........

As for being legally responsible........no, this as stated above would be her responsibility if she is caught or has an accident.
