In Oklahoma, can a parent take children out of state for 3 days without consent of other parent?

During the divorce process, can one parent take the children out of state without first informing the other parent and getting their consent? The father, during his visitation weekend took the children to another state without firstin informing the mother and getting her ok.

  1. Technically yes as long as there has been no temporary custody order or final divorce agreement which specifies otherwise.  

    Out of common consideration he should have informed the mother.  Out of the same consideration for the children, she should allow this kind of "short" trip without complaint.  

    If problems are suspected with one parent or the other taking the children, then a temporary custody order needs to be drawn up which specifies that they cannot take them out of state during the divorce process.
