In Olympic volleyball (indoor 6 person) do the games go by first one to win 3 win the the match? ?

I'm confused, did the pool go buy who won the most games (best of 3 or first one to 3) or the most matches (individual)...I'm basically lost on the rules of this...please help my dumb self

  1. yes first to win 3 sets wins the match


  2. The indoor volleyball players play best of 5 sets. If you win 3 sets you've won the match. If one team wins 2 sets and the other team wins 2 sets then the 5th set is played to 15 points for the win.

  3. The pools work by how many games you'v played and the wins and loses then are avereged in to a % example 2loses 4wins means you have 66.66% avererge the one closest to 100% goes to semis. and the games are 25 points a set best 3 out of 5 wins the match
