  1. i reckon getting more medals matterz.

coz the silver medalist may lose even by 1/100th of a second.

even thousg in the total medals list China is almost topping the charts.

  2. I think a gold is twice as good as a silver, and a silver is twice as good as a bronze.

By this point scale, the United States currently has 183 points to China's 219.

  3. Quality > Quantity.

  4. I suppose for simple-minded people more shiny gold medals would be better. Either way, a country of 1.3 billion people should have 4 times as many gold medals and total medals than a country of 300 million. How embarrassing for them to not have more medals than they do. Well, at least they have ping-pong and biased judges on their side! Woohoo!

  6. gold is better

  7. Well, generally its nice to have more gold and have the most medals but I think its the effort that counts. :D

  8. getting gold is better, which is the way the countries are ranked.

I would like to add that answerer number 3 made a very good point, quality over quantity :)
