I was also given a fine of $65 for not bringing the updated copy of the pink insurance slip. I have with the me the expired copy and left the new one at home of the pink insurance.

Will these affect the cost of my insurance? These are my first offenses.

  1. Your speeding ticket was only $50?  Bravo for you.  You can have the $65 fine waived if you go and provide proof of current insurance though.

  2. Not having the insurance slip should not effect the cost of your insurance, the speeding ticket will.  Prepare for a bump when its time for your policy to renew.

  3. The speeding ticket I believe affects your points and may affect your insurance.

    Hope this helps
