  1. it depends if your going to increase the blinds at regular intervals (say every 10mins) if you keep the blinds constant throughout i would say about 5% of the original buy-in amount.

    i.e. if the buy-in amount is 100 chips then play 5chip blinds.

    But if you are inreasing the blind amount at regular intervals then start off fairly low and maybe double the blind amount every 10mins or so. But it depends how many chips you start with really as to know what value of blinds to play. hope i've helped a bit. Adam B.


  2. are we talking tournament or cash game? cash game the blinds don't change. if you're talking the beginning of a standard tournament, think about setting blinds so that you have about 150-200 BB...

  3. I didn't know blinds were determined by the chip count.

  4. Blinds are independent of the chip count.  The are set to raise after a certain amount of time or hands played.
