In Pokemon Diamond / Pearl does battling in the Battle Tower give you EV's?

BP or Ev's?

Battling in the battle tower gives you 2 BP's.

Everytime you battle 7 trainers, you gain 2 BP's, battle points,

as the mode of battle gets harder, you get more BP for each 7 people you battle. Ev's are effort values. They can be added to your pokemon's stats to increase them.

I believe battle tower & wifi battle pokemon do not give any Ev's.

I'm not certain though.
