In Pokemon FireRed i traded another suicune on to my game to catch mine easy but in the dex it sez area unown?

BTW i had not seen suicune before i traded it and also i have beat the elite 4 and got a national dex!

maybe because u now have a suicine the pokedex thinks that u have caught the one in the game therefor saying area unown because u have caught it(when really u haven't). i'm not 100% sure but that is the only reason i can think y it would do that

How come?? My brother did the same thing.. He transferred his friend's entei to capture the entei in his his game. In the pokedex entei's area was there..

Because you have to get it in a trade in fire red and thats why you can't find its area. Hope this helped!!!

you have to see the suicune before

In firered/leafgreen you can only find ONE legendary dog. Most likely you didnt chose charmander at the beginning of the game if you cant find suicune.

Charmander- Suicune

Bulbasaur- Entei

Squirtle- Raikou

This is how you know what legendary dog is in your game.

If you did pick charmander though, then maybe your game is just messed up idk?
