In Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, what r MTs?

I heard there r a special type of HMs or TMs called "MTs". What r they, what do they do and what moves r on the 3 MTs I keep hearing about?

MT's only exist in Crystal.  It does not appear in Gold or Silver.  It is Move Tutor.  The three moves are Flamethrower, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt.

Move Tutors are in FireRed and LeafGreen.  Instead of a person giving you the TM for a move, he/she will instead teach one pokemon the move and only once.
