HELP!! I have to write an essay for my GCSE coursework on pride and prejudice and this is the question we've been given. Apart from the fact that I hate Jane Austen's works and cannot get into the book at all, I have no idea how to structure or word this essay.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Steph.

  1. hmmm...

maybe choose three characters and do a paragraph for each saying why they deserve sympathy

    hope this helps :)

  2. Check out some study guides then, and summaries and character sketches.  There are a number of online study guides for Pride and Prejudice, and quite a few other resources on the web that can help you with this novel.  Most of them have quite a bit of good information.  Have a look at these sites, and you should get some help with your work.  If you do a search for Pride and Prejudice here in the Yahoo Answers search window you will find that quite a few questions have been asked here about this book, so that is another source of help.
