  1. A couple of months ago I met Joe McMoneagle who was a remote viewer in the goverment's program during the 70's and 80's.  This question came up, and he answered with a definitive YES.

He described experiments where they would have a remote viewer in one room and a person in another room with a black board.  The person at the blackboard would write letters, sometimes words, and the target for the viewer was to identify the letters on the board.  He reported that they successfully performed well above statistical certainty (I believe it was close to 60-70 percent accuracy).

Another interesting note is that they sometimes were not writing in English, and yet, the viewers were still able to duplicate the words, and sometimes letters in languages with which they were not familiar.

He also described experiments where they would attempt to read letters that were sealed in envelopes.  From his descriptions, remote viewing, unlike astral project, is not like being in the target room.  With remote viewing, you are able to see items that would normally be hidden from view if you were standing in the room.

So, it is not a matter of getting close enough, but rather having a clear concept of the target that you are trying to view.  Thanks for the question D!

  2. Deenie I answered that on your other question.

  3. I can. MY problem is that my sight isn't good enough to actually read when I'm looking at.  Though I do usually get a feel for whatever it is. lol
