  1. probably not, but maybe it should be - anyone should deserve something for throwing 15 stones of meatloaf any distance!

but seriously, wouldnt it be knocked forward?

  2. As long as it is not a dangerous tackle yes

  3. Throw - No.

Assist over the try line - Yes

The rules are open to interpreation, but "throwing a player" to achieve a try, NO !!!

  4. If he is trying to score .... YEs you can nudge him over the dead ball line to prevent him from scoring.

But Throwing him anywhere on the field , like spear tackling or so ....not allowd any more...

Rule came in to play this year and depending on the referee..it is a red card first, then maybe a yellow card and 10 min in Sin bin.

  5. yes

  6. do you mean pick him up and throw back onto the field of play and out of the goal area (ie the area over the try line??) before he scores a try??

cos if you do the anwser would be no (well, you can do it but it would be against the laws) - you cannot "throw" anyone anywhere -that would be dangerous play and you would probably be yellow carded and 10 minutes in the sin bin

  7. yes, as long as you're not obstructing the opposition from making a tackle/ getting the ball, but it would be quite difficult to do.
