In Rugby Union, why do Ireland sing two national anthems?

The key point is that the Ireland team is drawn from players in the whole of the island of Ireland i.e. Northern Ireland , part of the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland, usually referred to as Ireland.. This is the reason  for singing two national anthems.
