In running, it's so hard to breathe the right way. I always attempt to breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth, but it's hard, so how do i make it easier and will that improve my times in track?

  1. After time and my speed increases as does the distance covered, I begin breathing in and out through my mouth.  The extent of my effort has passed breathing thru my nose.

Work your quads more for track:  do lunges, burpees, deep knee bends.

  2. to tell the truth that method of breathing simply allows you to get longerdeeper breathes creating less cramps but breathing through only your mouth is soooo much easier...either way will not effect your times and to compensate the long breathes doing ab workouts really stop cramps therin eliminating the need for breathing that requires an insane amount of focus to keep constant

  3. Breathe how you feel it most comfortable. If you breathe through your nose the air is more clean because your nose hairs work like a filter, but it is very hard on the sinuses. Breathing through your mouth gives your body more oxygen and in a race you need all the oxygen that you can get.

It could effect your time. I'm not sure. Expirement during workouts.

I don't breathe through my nose, to difficult for me.
