I work for a preschool in San Diego. Does anyone know where I can get free books to put in the classrooms? The school already used up it's little budget on other supplies.

  1. Try the local school  repository.  Lots of distinct school systems will give away books that are no longer going to be used.  Or they sell them by weight, at pennies to the pound.

Sometimes they require a proof that the recipient be an employed district teacher.

Unused work books are very common and more often free or cheaper then text books.

  2. One thing I've learned  is that nothing is free. So what I think is that you'll have to buy them.

  3. Well i know that at my library people donate books and they accumulate and then they sell them for about 10-25 cents and i live in Simi valley so you might want to try your library? You may even attract attention to high school students as a charity/ community service thing especially key club....
