In San Francisco, will I get a parking ticket during street cleaning if I have a handicap licence plate?

I have checked the dmv site and can find nothing to answer this. My licence plate is from another state and I am just visiting this lovely city.

Your handicap plate give you the privilege of parking in handicap parking spot.

It does not give you the ability to break the parking law.

Yes, you will get a ticket.  A handicap plate does not allow you to park in parking-prohibited areas, such as street cleaning zones, fire lanes, etc.

Oh yes. Street cleaning in S.F. is god. You will definitely get a parking ticket even if your car broke down and the hood up and your waiting for a tow. It's called money as in revenue. No mercy. Parking Meters are free.
