Question:

In Search of a Toasted English??

You have got to hear this one.

I nearly split my sides with laughter this morning as I wandered around the Smithfield market in search of a toasted English.

They simply did not know what I was talking about. Hardly any of them spoke English anyway.

The closest I got was a cafe which brought me toasted bread spread with mustard. Thought THAT was a toasted English.

Can somebody tell me if there are any Brits still living in London and if so if any still run a cafe and dispense toasted English muffins for breakfast?
