In Sims 2 can Young Adults and Teenagers have a romantic relationship?

As the game ships teenagers can only have romantic relationships with other teens and that is limited to the different types of kissing.  Woohoo is not available for teens.  Young Adults, Adults and Elders can have all types of romantic relationships.

If you seriously want to have that, you can go to the settings and choose to allow all relationships and any child over the age of 13 can have babies with adults... simple?

They can, but it really isn't anything other than holding hands and kissing. In the base games with the extensions they still can't can't have sexual relationships or get pregnant but there are hacks. That is something that concerns a lot of parents who are buying it for their children.
