  1. Conservation of plants or animals in its natural habitat is called as in situ conservation where as conservation of life form creating a habitat similar to natural one is ex situ. Since, it is almost impossible to construct artificial condition similar to natural habitat as there are too many factors need to be considered, the better or most effective form of conservation is in its natural habitat or in situ conservation. In a condition where endangered species do not find their natural habitat or natural habitat is disturbed very much, needs to be manupilated by humans for further protection of those species so ex situ conservation is important. For the normal condition, in situ is the best.
