  3. rock rabbits. they look like guinea pigs with a hare's fur. Very common, and very bold little creatures. they'll snatch food outta your hand. kinda cure-but-ugly little guys

  7. I need clear up that dassies live only on Table Mountain, that is not true, they live throughout the whole South Africa, anywhere there is a small koppie (hill) with plenty of rocks on it where they can hide.

    Also, you do get tree dassies as well, they live mainly near the coast, if I am correct, they naturally live in the trees near the beach.

    Yes, dassies look like rabbits, with a stump for a tail and smaller ears. They are brown in colour and are mainly very shy creatures. They are very agile and the rocks are their playground.
