In Southern California which is usually the hottest month? In your opinion; June, July, or August ?

Also, do you think this summer in Southern Ca, has been as hot as the last summer , of 07 ?

i think late july/early august is the hottest time. (june was especially gloomy this year).

i think this summer (as it is so far) isn't has hot as it was last year. i'm judging by electric bill (which typically shots up this time of year for cooling costs) comparisons--i've spent less this year so far than i did last year.
