In-State tuition?

My boyfriend and I are from Illinois, and go to college at the University of Iowa. He has an uncle in Iowa, and has changed is address with the school to show that he "lives" with his uncle in order to get the in-state tuition rate. Is there anything else we need to do to "prove" this? Get an Iowa drivers license, send mail there, etc.? And if they decide that he is lying and doesn't actually live there, what can happen?

  1. sometimes you still cant get the in state rate...i think in Cali you have to have been a resident for 2years to get the rate (then again i could be wrong about that lol). Check with your schools financial aid office or talk to a councler explain that you have "moved to Iowa" and see if she or he can be more helpful.

  2. well then theyll ather kick him out or let him slide
