In Super High Me, how did Doug Benson get a perscription for medical marijuana?

i feel like they never really explained it in the movie, and it didn't look like he had any obvious medical ailments or anything.

I don't know who this person or movie is but some states allow the legal prescribing of pot.  All Doug had to do was convince the doctor he needed it.  Some doctors will prescribe anything you ask for.
