What is the measured cosmic ray flux? Does the product of the two factors make a cloud?

  1. I don't know the first part.

    I believe the flux is around z=1–28 ions and electrons of E=10–105 MeV/nucleon  with a variation of -1.5 to +2.0.

    I would not have thought cosmic rays could influence cloud formation, but apparently a link has been demonstrated.


  2. Not clear on the question, but the theory that cosmic rays form promote cloud formation has been shown to be true in the lab.
