This morning I think I may have ran the red light on Epping Road intersection just after the Lane Cove Tunnel entrance. There was a bus behind me. I was afraid that if I stop, the bus may hit me, so I decided to cross the intersection. As I was approaching it, the light turn from yellow to red. I'm not sure whether the front of my car had crossed the first line yet or not. But I don't think I saw/noticed any flashes. What do you think it may have happened. Did I get caught?

  1. Those camera systems are engineered so that if the front of the vehicle crosses a set point (usually marked on the pavement as a thin line...at least in the States), the camera flashes. There are photo and video technicians that review the evidence and decide whether or not the person "ran the light". If you are in the intersection when it turns red, you should not receive a citation.

  2. Yes you got caught but you wont get a ticket.
