Im a huge tennis fan, and a huge baseball fan. i know that in baseball when i face a lefty pitcher (me being a righty), its alot differnt then facing a righty. In tennis, all of my opponents (my friends) are serving right handed. Is there going to be a difference if a lefty serves? do they have an advantage? Is there more natural spin?

  1. Yes, it's definitely different. For lefties, deuce court is the ad court and vice versa. The angles the lefties can create are exactly opposite and that's why different. It's an advantage for them if the opponent never played a lefty before and if he panics. But, don't worry, once you get used to it(usually takes a couple of games for me), you will do fine. Good Luck!

  2. Yes, there is a difference.  When they hit a slice serve, instead of going to your forehand it will go to your backhand because of the way they make contact with the ball.  Its simply reversed.  But if they hit a flat serve then its pretty much the same thing as versing a righty.

Yes, a left-handed person versing a righty has the advantage.
