  1. Of course you can jump over the net, especially to play defense.  That way, you can whack your opponent on the knees or across the back of the neck if they don't look a good as we all know they can.

You may want to consider also jumping in your car, drive home, and put your rackets for sale on Craig's list.   Or better yet, you could jump to conclusions like the fella in Office Space.

Make like Kris Kross, and Jump. Jump

  2. That is the dumbest question i've heard in the tennis section for a long while lol, good luck with tennis your doing well??...

  3. no.  you cant touch the net at all and you have to stay in your side at all times.  why would you jump over the net anyways??

  4. Okay, I don't play tennis, and I'm not a tennis genius...

But isn't the MAIN aim of tennis to get the ball OVER the net (and not out)?

If you jump over the net and play defense, then how are you to receive the ball when the opponent hits it over the net and you're on their side?

You're not allowed to jump over the net... No...

You don't have enough time to jump over the net, let alone run for it.

  5. no

and if your racket goes over the net as your playing its called an over reach and the other people get the point
