I know that you switch ends on the odd-numbered games, and that the server starts in the deuce court, but when do the pairs switch? Like when one of them moves up and the other moves back and the server switches to one side of the hyphen? Thanks

  1. One player always returns serve from the left, the other always returns from the right.

The server serves one entire game as he/she would in singles, then its the other teams serve, then the other player from the first teams serves again.

  2. if you arent on the team thats serving you move back if the server on the other team is diagonal from you so you can receive the ball. if you arent receiving the ball you just move up closer to the net (not to the left or right)

if you are on the team that IS serving and you arent the server you basically stay up at the net the whole time and move left and right after every point. you should always stand a few feet away from the net and on the side that the server is NOT on. so that way you ahve the entire court covered when your opponent returns the shot
