In The Binyanis facing new competitors in the Punchestown Invitational Sale INH Flat Race
Horse-racing enthusiasts will be gathering at Punchestown on 22nd February, 2012, in the Goffs Punchestown Invitational Sale INH Flat Race.
11 contenders will be racing across a distance of 2 miles for a purse of €4,830.
The race line-up consists of:
Bailito Bay,
Medhlan,
Angles Hill,
By The Banks,
Cnoc Na Sioga,
Dance Floor King,
In The Binyanis,
Paradise Lily,
Show Band,
Silverpockets, and
The Loving Whipper.
In The Binyanis started off 2012 with an impressive race. The 5-year-old son of Waky Nao, out of Black Ouzel, was triumphant in his seasonal debut which took place on 15th January, 2012.
Gordon Elliott’s training really reflected in the gelding’s performance. He defeated Atlantic Ocean, in the Slaney Foods International LTD 5YO Geldings Maiden, held at Tinahely.
In The Binyanis is known for skill of performing well over bumpers.
He also secured a placed finish in the Athaseel House Stud 4YO Maiden, at Lisronagh, on 4th December, 2011.
Angles Hill, the 5-year-old gelding, impressed his connections and the punters with his last performance.
He crossed the finish line first, in The Park Hotel & J.C Tyner Memorial 5YO Memorial Geldings Maiden, at Dungarvan, on 22nd January, 2012.
This performance proved to be redemption as his last performance in 2011 was less impressive.
The son of Heron Island, out of No Tails Told, finished in 5th place in the Brightwells Bloodstock 4YO Maiden, which took place on 11th December, 2011.
His trainer/owner, J.A. Berry is hoping that he will be able to maintain his pace and take the lead in this race.
Bailito Bay, son of Beneficial, out of Minstrel Hall, will be competing for the first time since May 2011. His trainer, Patrick G. Kelly, is hoping that this long break will serve in the horse’s interest.
Silverpockets, Show Band, The Loving Whipper, Paradise Lily, Dance Floor King, Cnoc Na Sioga, By The Banks, and
Medhlan have not raced before. This race will be their career debut.
Their performances cannot be evaluated based on their inexperience. Any of them has the capability to succeed and attract bets after this race.
It is predicted that In The Binyanis has a good chance of leading this race. He is extremely skilful when it comes to overcoming bumpers.
He has under-gone comprehensive training. His owner, Anthony Deegan, is hoping that the gelding will secure a win in this race, which will contribute to a hat-trick.
The second place is likely to be acquired by Angles Hill or Bailito Bay.
