In The Odyssey, did odyssues have a good reason for killing all those ppl when he returned home?

when he returned to ithica he killed all those people in that room. do you think he had a good reason to do that?

Yes.  Those people he killed were his wife's suitors.  They wanted his wife so that they can have Odyssey's belongings, land, etc. and were conspiring to kill his son who was trying his best to protect his mother.  His wife said that she'd marry the one who can bend Odyssey's bow, and he got all the conspirators there and shot them.


  2. Yes because in some way they are all tring to kill him!  All he wants to do is get back to his wife!!

  3. they ate all his food, drank all his wine,  insulted his son, tried to marry his wife, were insulting to him (dressed up as an old beggar) when he went to his own home....

    Why no, whyever would he have killed all those guys?

  4. Hmm lets see they wanted to kill him his son and they wanted to marry his wife.

    This part of the book was great and it was great to see this part in a movie.
