Because  a lot of tween/teens watch the movie, and parents would not like it if it was advertising killing your unborn baby.  It's also showing the after math of having s*x that young/ in that way. If she took the pill it would be like saying, " go off and have unprotected s*x, All you have to do is take one pill and your ok".
