I am intending to bet on US masters golf events, and would like to know, in your opinion who is the bumper player for betting in US masters golf events?

  1. I'm going to skip forward to the spring now and to what is just about my favourite event of the year - the US Masters. No doubt I'll be having my obligatory wager on Phil Mickelson again but the player I'm convinced will also taste success at Augusta, and maybe this year at a bumper price, is Anthony Kim.

In just his second competitive round at Augusta in 2009 he made a remarkable 11 birdies on the way to recording a seven under par 65 - a score he again achieved in the final round last year, on his way to finishing third.

He spent most of the latter part of 2010 out of the game following surgery on a damaged left thumb but a tied 25th on a return to action at the HSBC Champions was far from a disgrace. And there were definitely signs of the old Kim at both the Chevron World Challenge and the recent Shark Shootout, where he and his partner Chris DiMarco finished in a tie for third. I'll be looking to snap up some early value here because if he starts the year well, with his glaringly obvious course form, he'll be plenty short enough come April.
