I know that in Mexican spanish gamba is usually shrimp, teca is usually teak, and botija is usually jug.

  2. Teca is equivalent to money, "dinero".... gamba is a leg or 100 pesos and botija is a child.

  3. In Uruguay the word for money ("dinero") is PLATA.

    Plata is the most common and frequent term for "money" in Uruguay.

    You can also use the word "guita" but this one is a bit more slangish.
