I remember a Blue Peter programme, years ago, where they did their summer holidays in Vietnam. And I am pretty sure I can recall them saying that babies are 1 as soon as they are born, I tried to google it, but can't seem to find anything, did i remember wrong? Can anybody from there help me?

  1. Yes they are..which cause a LOT of confusion for Westerners.

My daughter is 3 1/2 years old...but my wife tells people she is 4 1/2.

Vietnamese consider the time spent inside the mother to be the first year, so essentially it could be argued that Vietnamese believe life begins at conception.

As for me, I am either 50 or 51, depending on the potential benefits I can get.

    best regards!
