Just wondering as my GP has sent me to get bloods done & an ultrasound as i've been going 3-4months at a time without a period since my son was born. we've been trying for baby #2 for nearly a year now so was wondering if she was able to prescribe them or would she simply write me a referal & send my notes over?

  1. GP's are able to prescribe metformin for diabetes and PCOS. Not sure about the clomid though.

And if you need a referral she will organise it and send your history to a fertility clinic.

  2. You need to see your doctor, from my understanding you need to get a script for both items.

Have you gone to a fertility clinic.
