i want to change my default font in the windows wordpad program so that i don't have to change it every time i start the program away from Arial which is the current default

how do i do this?

i prefer wordpad to microsoft word because i have no use for word's additional options

No, it's not possible to change the default font in Wordpad the same way you will do in Word. The only way is making a template with the font you want, save it and use it every time you want.

Here is the site that explains it

    http://www.pcworld.com/article/52364-3/w...

The link also includes a tweak to make wordpad open in the new template. Use this tweak or open the new template you made and remember to open wordpad (with your font) just by clicking on it.

    Best of Lucks!
