In Y/A, do more Democrats, & Libs have their Q/A's set to private? If so Why?

It's just that when I go to what seems like a Republican there page is open to all, and when I go to what seems like a Democrat. or Liberal, it is closed tight.

They want to be able to talk without the fear of disagreement.

Its possible they might learn something and they don't want any of their preconceived notions to be messed up by factual information.

I don't think this is true.  I think you're probably looking at Dems/Liberals' profiles so it SEEMS so to you.

I see TONS of Republicans/Cons with private profiles.

Well, my profile was open for about the first 10 months, until my feud with black and white pic Joe (a con, btw)-and then mysteriously i was getting reported 5-6 questions at a time..so i changed it to private.....if you read my answers..they are not offensive, sarcastic at times, yes..but certainly not against any ya policies...

As many other have stated, I find the opposite to be true. Many Republican/ Conservative profiles are not only set to private, but a lot of them are brand new profiles that just ask more and more inflamatory (trolling) questions. But nice try attempting to pin that label on Democrats!
