  1. Al Gore he invented global warming and the internet two things we can't do without.

  2. ISAAC NEWTON== the greatest English mathematician of his generation. He laid the foundation for differential and integral calculus. His work on optics and gravitation make him one of the greatest scientists the world has known.                                                                                             Honours awarded to Isaac Newton

    Lucasian Professor 1669

Fellow of the Royal Society 1672

President of the Royal Society 1703-1727

    Lunar features Crater Newton

Paris street names Rue Newton (16th Arrondissement)

2.ALBERT EINSTEIN:Albert Einstein (March 14, 1879- April 15, 1955) was a German physicist. His contributions to Physics started in 1905 that includes: the explanation of the Brownian motion in terms of Molecules, the explanation of photoelectric effect in terms of quantum in which he received a Nobel Prize and the Special Theory of Relativity that has become a major tool of Modern Physics. He also developed General Relativity Theory that was more accurate than of Newton's.

Albert Einstein's equation E=mc² (Energy = mass times the speed of light squared) paved the way for the creation of the first atomic bomb. Though he condemned the use of it, President Franklin D. Roosevelt approved the plan for an all out effort in atomic bomb. By the first week of August in 1945, the two bombs "The Little Boy" (Hiroshima Bomb) and "The Fat Man" (Nagasaki Bomb were already dropped, making a history. Einstein regretted what his invention has caused. He was considered one of the fathers of atomic bomb.

3.MARIE CURIE:opened up the science of radioactivity. She is best known as the discoverer of the radioactive elements polonium and radium and as the first person to win two Nobel prizes. For scientists and the public, her radium was a key to a basic change in our understanding of matter and energy. Her work not only influenced the development of fundamental science but also ushered in a new era in medical research and treatment.

Notable awards : Nobel Prize in Physics (1903)

    Davy Medal (1903)

    Matteucci Medal (1904)

    Nobel Prize in Chemistry (1911)

  3. Albert Einstin

he Developed the theory of relativity

    E=MC square

    Marie Curie

He was from the family made for Noble prizes

    Issac Newton

I think the Scientist list will be incomplete without this Great Man

    There are other also

    Dr. Stephan Hawking

The greatest scientist who is in this world Today also

    Al Gore

    he invented Global warming

    James Watt

    Aryabhatta (around 500 AD)

The inventor of 0, and the father of Algebra

first to calculate 99.999% right value of pi to 1 Million decimals,it is believed that he had proved that Earth and the 6 planets(the telescope was not invented and only first 6 planets were known) revolve around the sun, 1000 years before it was discovered by Nicolaus Copernicus

    Bhaskara

A great scientist and Mathematitian, It is Believed that he had invented the Gravitational Force in 600 A.D.

    Thomas Elva Edison

The father of Light, and he had more than 1050 US patents, this means 1050+ inventions

    Alfred Noble

He discovered the Dynamite and many more things

    Archemedis

he was a scientist as well as a superb mathematician

  4. Albert Einstein, Marie Curie

    can't think of a third one ...

  5. In my opinion, the 3 greatest scientist were:

    1. NIKOLA TESLA

Light, AC power, neon lights, spark plug, radio emition, remote control, first power plant in the world(Niagara falls) Nikola Tesla (born on July 9th/10th 1856, died on January 7th 1943) was a Serbo-Croatian-American inventor, born in Smiljan, Croatia. A physicist, mechanical engineer and electrical engineer. Tesla is regarded as one of the most important inventors in history. He is also well known for his contributions to the discipline of electricity and magnetism in the late 19th and early 20th century. His patents and theoretical work form the basis of modern alternating current electric power (AC) systems, including the polyphase power distribution systems and the AC motor, with which he helped usher in the Second Industrial Revolution.

In the United States, Tesla's fame rivaled that of any other inventor or scientist in history or popular culture. After his demonstration of wireless communication in 1893 and after being the victor in the "War of Currents", he was widely respected as America's greatest electrical engineer. Much of his early work pioneered modern electrical engineering and many of his discoveries were of groundbreaking importance. He later became credited as being the inventor of the radio; however, whether or not this is entirely accurate has been largely debated. Never putting a large focus on his finances, Tesla died impoverished and forgotten at the age of 86.

Tesla's legacy can be seen across modern civilization wherever electricity is used. Aside from his work on electromagnetism and engineering, Tesla is said to have contributed in varying degrees to the fields of robotics, ballistics, computer science, nuclear physics, and theoretical physics. In his later years, Tesla was regarded as a mad scientist and became noted for making bizarre claims about possible scientific developments. [1][2] Many of his achievements have been used, with some controversy, to support various pseudosciences, UFO theories, and New Age occultism. Many contemporary admirers of Tesla have deemed him the man who invented the twentieth century.

    2. ALBERT EINSTEIN

An Original mind who seek to explore the mysterious and unknown territotry with a curious and child-like approach. Modest yet arrogant at times, especially towards his theories. A detached and intuitive thinker with an unusual creative scope of perspective, this led to the formation of special and general relativity which even feynmen was not able to know how einstein get to that theory. A serious yet playful individualist who seek to find the truth through scientific discovery, a theoretical approach, and not to be bothered by monotheism. Defied conventional actions and thinking, always mastery-oriented and not performance-oriented. A sense of wonder not found very much in the probable all-logical and factual scientist found in conventional instituitions. What separates Einstein with many other scientist is not his ability to do conventional science problems or the IQ-like questions, but is his all-curious and enthusiastic attitude and his original mind. "Imagination is more important than knowledge"

    3. SIR ISAAC NEWTON

Newton described universal gravitation and the three laws of motion, laying the groundwork for classical mechanics, which dominated the scientific view of the physical universe for the next three centuries and is the basis for modern engineering. Newton showed that the motions of objects on Earth and of celestial bodies are governed by the same set of natural laws by demonstrating the consistency between Kepler's laws of planetary motion and his theory of gravitation, thus removing the last doubts about heliocentrism and advancing the scientific revolution.

In mechanics, Newton enunciated the principles of conservation of momentum and angular momentum. In optics, he invented the reflecting telescope and developed a theory of colour based on the observation that a prism decomposes white light into a visible spectrum. He also formulated an empirical law of cooling and studied the speed of sound.

In mathematics, Newton shares the credit with Gottfried Leibniz for the development of calculus. He also demonstrated the generalized binomial theorem, developed the so-called "Newton's method" for approximating the zeroes of a function, and contributed to the study of power series.

  6. 1. Sir Isaac Newton

    2. Einstein

    3. Sigmund Freud (minus the cocaine, s*x, and death fascinations)

There's a really interesting story you might find fun to read about the great scientists. I printed this out back in 2005,  had it laminated and it's hanging in my office.
