  1. If you flip it, yes. If your opponent attacks it, than no.

  2. A monster flipped face-up by a card effect, such as "Book of Taiyou" or "Stop Defense", or as a result of battle is not considered a Flip Summon. Only flipping a Set monster manually is considered a Flip Summon.

  3. *dun* yah of corse that's whay it's FLIP-somen!!

but sorry bout the "*dun*" part when i type that that means i made the grunt sound peopule make when a dunce happens such as a migican fails at a magic trick so evryone sees evrything that makes it a trick by mistake like that!!

  4. yes but you can not flip sommon it the first turn you set it. and also if your oppenent attacks somethingl ike mophing jar when it is set his effect will activate. any other monsters effect will activate when someone attacks that set monter IF on the card it says before it says the effect FLIP.

Example: FLIP: you and your opponet discards all of thier cards in there hand and draws 5 cards.

so if my opponet attacked that card when it was in face down defense position it would activate. it would also activate if you flip summoned it.

  5. yeah

  6. yes

  7. isn't that pretty obvious. nothing more i can say about it.

  8. yeah that's a flip summon since you flip the monster face-up yourself...

  9. yes maybe u can read the rule book instead of wasteing 5 points to ask this question. no offensive though......      thats just what i do

  10. Yes it is lol

  11. yes, it is a flip summon, and you can flip summon more than once if you have more than one monster face down defense.
