Also, with Crystal beasts card, it states that if the card is destroyed u can place in a trap or spell zone, does that mean that if u tribute it u can place it in spell and trap zone?

  1. your single normal summon per turn can be spent doing a normal summon (face up atk) OR on a set (face down defense)

plz review the rule book, its on the official site.

    ...

    Tributing is not destroying

  2. well every turn ur allowed to normal summon a monster (face up atk position) or set a monster (face down def) however there are cards that allow u to normal summon or set an extra time. Ex: Ultimate Offering or Double Summon.

as for crystal beasts, no u cannot put the crystal beast card in the spell/trap zone when u tribute it. because simply put, tributing isnt destroying. however if it said "if this card is sent to the grave" meaning either tributing or discarding then u wud be able to put it in the trap/spell zone. hope dis helps

  3. you either normal summon or set on a turn. a set may not be considered as a normal summon, but if you set a monster it uses up your normal summon for the turn

crystal beasts have to be face-up destroyed to go into the s/t zone. tributing is not destroying, so the crystal beasts will go to the graveyard

  4. Its either Normal Summoning, Setting, or Tributing once per turn. Not if you have a card that you can do otherwise. But for Crystal Beasts if they go to the Spell and Trap Card Zone that does not count as a summon and if you tribute them you can't put them in the Spell and Trap Card Zone because there are being tributed not destroyed.
