In Yugioh cards what does HP condition stand for?

I was just wondering what is HP? Why is it less than NM ( Near Mint)?

  1. HP standees for hit points. Its technical its health.


  2. Yes it is referred for Hit Points or Health Points but I don't see that on any of my cards though. Although there is a such thing as ATK and DEF but HP is mainly referring to Yugioh counterpart TCG Pokemon.

  3. HE means the cards actual comndition, if it is near mint, mint, damaged etc. I dont know what hp stand for, but at least its clear now.

  4. HP is a standard condition in any ccg which means "Heavily Played". These cards have obviously been shuffled, and show obvious signs of wear but are usually tournament legal in opaque sleeves.
