In Zelda twilight Princess im trying to do the cat mingame?

when i talk to the chicken in wolf mode all he says is you can fine alot of loot i have already killed the 20 goblins and got the item from the old lady and left the town and re-entered it when will the mingame be avable it says in the book it is right when i leave town but i talked to the stupied chicken and he not giveing me the mingame can someone please help me if you know Thank You.

you have to go to kakariko village first since you need to help Ilia, then after that, go back to this hidden village and the chicken will let you play this mini game.
