Playoffs are single elimination in fantasy which makes 3 possibilities for playoffs:

8 - in which only two teams don't make playoffs and takes the fun out of the entire regular season(if teams begin to lose they will not actively participate)

2 - which woud actually be a championship and not a playoff, lasting only one week, less exciting

4 - the perfect number for 2 reasons:

    

a.) It keeps teams competitive till the end trying to place in the top 4

b.) There are two weeks in playoffs and even the best team can be beaten, as they will have to win 2 games in a row
