In a bit of a sticky patch regarding an experiment...?

I'm going to use a lamp with varying levels of heat to replicate the effects of the sun, and replicate global dimming on a smaller scale, along with a few other global warming defenses, and watch the effects. This is for a Science Fair Project, but I just need to know... what is the independent variable?

whichever variable you are manipulating, or controlling, will be the independent variable.

well the lamp is sort of independent because everything else is getting effected
