  1. You need a maximum of two pages and your career history (if applicable) should go back no more than ten years in concise form - do not over emphasise the earlier career parts - concentrate on the current and last post held.

Unless asked for - further back than 10 years is just going to bore the pants of the people.

  2. a maximum of 2 sides of a single sheet of A4 (can be printed double sided). Plus if you have to give referee aand reference details that can be an additional single side of A4.

any more than that tends to be ignored as it shows an inability to summarise! some employers like a face photo on the CV others hate it.

remember you ONLY have to give details of the last 5 or max 10 years of your career nd if qualifications older than that just give summary of level achieved not full details and dates. Also putting your date of birth is not required anymore in the UK

  3. A cv should not be more than 2 page. Content order of cv  could be as follows:

    - Objective

    - Job experience (latest job experience should be at first)

    - Extra / technical / relevent Qualification

    - Educational record

    - Reference

    - Contact information

  4. Make it as small as possible.

  5. It should be clear and consise, if it's too long it'll just get put down straight away.

One side of A4 is good, 2 at a maximum.

If it's handwritten, type it and print it, it will take up less room and is more conventional.

  6. I think I would trim it down unless you have masses and masses of qualifications...I would have thought a couple of pages would have been enough to stop people getting bored reading it.....

  7. Should be as consise as possible, so I suggest you trim down the unwanted info. Get the most important stuff in at the start as well.

  8. ONE PAGE.... never more than one page... anything more is a turn off.  If the employer wants more information they will ask... if you hit them with a 4 page C.V.... they will immediately be turned off.

The main thing is, you TAYLOR MAKE that one page TO THE COMPANY you are applying for.  Any experience that doesn't apply to the job you are applying for, you LEAVE OFF... just include that information the H.R. manager will want to know to determine your qualifications for the job he has to offer.

  9. Trim it down to 2 pages.  Employers stop reading at the bottom of page 2.

  10. 1

  11. not too short but not too long,

Just include all fo the important stuff that is needed.

    thats all they need.

so if all the stuff you need is in that many pages leave it.

    Good luck, Hope i helped.
