  1. It depends on the manufacture of the vehicle, if its a Mercedes you will pay £150.

  2. See if you can find one that does your local taxi companies, they will be much more experienced, and not too expensive. About £30.

  3. It takes about 10 mins and should cost about £20 - £30 - no more

  4. Tracking has nothing do to with the MOT

And why do people keep getting tracking checked and adjusted, unless any suspension component has been changed or the car crashed the tracking will never need adjusting.

Also all the kwik t*t type places to do have a clue about tracking, have you ever seen them actually check that the wheels are true and that there is no play in the suspension because if there is there is no point even adjusting it.

  5. Tracking isn't tested for MOT however if it needs doing your tyres may be unevenly worn which could be a failure.

Steering alignment may be affected if the car has been kerbed or hit a pot-hole etc.

National Tyres, ATS or some other decent tyre service garage will do the tracking for around £20 depending where you live.

  6. About £20 quid would do it

  7. About £30, should cover it!

  8. As above £30 is reasonable...

Try and get it laser tracked... it costs a little more (about a fiver) but it is a lot more accurate.

  9. Yep, I'd say probably under £30, but take it to a good independent tyre fitter, not a garage - they'll be quicker & cheaper.

  10. average in the north east is £14...but some cars require more work to adjust so it can cost a little more
