  1. Obviously this depends on the width of your car and how thin you are to squeeze out of the door. I find it easier to drive in and back out.

    You really need a space three feet wider than your car.


  2. Car parks are generally privately owned & maintained, so they can squeeze as many spaces in as they like. I take it you've backed out of a space & hit something?

  4. This can vary.  I have been in car parks with no more than an 8 foot lane between opposite stalls.  I believe most large shoppng centers would have about 15 to 16 feet.
