The most queens I ever got was 7, basically it was all my pawns, my king, and my queen versus my dad's king and another peice, so I borught all my pawns to the other end and basically trapped him, that was a fun game, I could have had 9, (9 is the max, 1 queen at the begining, plus 8 pawns) but my dad took out all my pawns previously. That was a great game!

dde listen im not boasting or maknig u think great about me but ive played chess at international level and im dlehi ste champ u-11 so the most no of queens u can get is....

1 in strasting + 8 pawns make a queen=so total =9 queens per team....lol my maximum is 5 i got in a freindly game aginst my bro...

I got 8. It was a game where my opponent's forces were reduced to the sole King which I condemned to moving between 2 squares at a corner of the board. Then, feeling particularly sadistic, I promoted all my surviving 7 pawns to 7 Queens, making sure not to stalemate my opponent. After a few more moves and proud surveys of my position (and his pulling wry faces) I mated the chap with 8 Queens on the board.

Needless to say, he was not the strongest of chessplayers:-)
