  1. My daughter is two and a half, and her eating varies alot day to day. Sometimes she'll be a great eater, and others she's almost fasting. On the average day, though, she'll have something like:

Breakfast - Honey bunches of oats cereal with milk and sometimes half a banana, or just a bowl of fruit with a milk sippy

    Morning snack- Graham cracker.

Lunch- Peanut Butter and Jelly or ham and cheese sandwich. I'll offer veggies also but more often than not she'll only peck a them. a sippy cup of juice.

Afternoon snack- a piece of fruit or some trail mix and some water.

Dinner- tortellini or ravioli with chicken nuggets and mixed veggies with butter and garlic powder.  dinner's usually the meal where she eats the least amount, but she'll eat a little bit of everything. A sippy of either white or chocolate milk.

  2. 8 am:Porridge for breakfast and some fruit...especially a couple of strawberries this time of year.

    Some toast at about 10am....

    Cows milk

Lunch time chicken, minced beef, pork, turkey with vegetables...the sweeter ones always disguise the nasty ones....choose sweet potato, carrot, swede, butternut squash... followed by yogurt or rice pudding.

Afternoon snack of breadsticks and cheese and a few cut up grapes

Tea time...all kinds of things....including a sausage, veg, beans, mash, meat, pasta, cheese, rice/risotto, quineoa, etc.

    Cow's milk at bedtime....

That's what my little lot are having.........childminder, mother and grandmother

  3. My youngest is 3 now but I can give you a rough estimate of what he did eat at that age:

Breakfast: bowl of cheerios, or toast, or waffle, or banana

                       juice

Snack: some sort of fruit, or crackers with cheese, or yogurt

Lunch: fruit, cup of water, rolled up turkey or ham (2 slices)

or he would have some sort of leftovers with the fruit

                too

snack: pretzels or crackers and jelly/peanut butter, or carrots

with dressing, or some sort of fruit, or yogurt

dinner: small portion of meat (maybe 5-8 bites), handful of any

veggie, handful of rice or potato, water/milk

snack: usually a waffle again, or a cup of yogurt again

  4. Breakfast:   3 handfuls of cheerios with milk or 1 pancake with sugerfree syrup or 1/2 a minibagel with cream cheese or 2 slices of toast with butter.

10am Snack:   Few goldfish crakers and a small cup of OJ diluted with water.

Lunch:   4 chicken nuggets with milk or a sandwich with a slice of turkey and cheese or and omlete with ham and cheese.  (once a week a slice of cheese pizza).

    3pm:   A piece of fruit.

Dinner:  A small portion of whatever we are eating.  OJ diulted with water.

Before Bed A glass of milk

  5. My daughter is 2 1/2.

She likes to have cereal and fruit for breakfast.  And lately she insists on having her milk in a regular cup (not sippy cup) with a straw.

She has a snack around 10:30, which is usually fruit.

At lunch she will basically eat whatever I make - eggs, pancakes, sandwich, mac & cheese, whatever.  Lately though she has been very insistent on having a PB&J sandwich EVERY day.

She has another snack after nap - usually crackers or goldfish since this is when we are likely to run errands, and they are easy on-the-go snacks

Dinner is whatever I have cooked :)

  6. My son just eats about anything. He is not fussy at all. On a typical day:

BF: Oats/pancakes/donut/bread with cheese or eggs

Snack: Banana or any other fruit/wheat biscuits etc

    Lunch: Veges, rice, lentils, yogurt

    Dinner: Porridge/rice/veges

  7. How about a 3yr old??  My 3 yr old eats maybe a waffle with sugar free syrup for breakfast, or a small bowl of cereal(if I am lucky)

for Lunch: a hot dog or chicken nuggets(if I am lucky)

for dinner: either a hot dog or chicken nuggets (which ever one he did not eat for lunch.) I(Again......if I am lucky)

And yet they grow like weeds!!!

  8. mines 2 1/5

breakfast: waffles with butter and a little syrup

lunch: hot dog or sandwich (ham and cheese), cup of fruit yogurt, water

dinner: whatever we are eating, water

he has to drink 2 Resource Milk drinks per day

snacks: water, animal crackers, cheese, tuttie fruities cereal, banana etc

  9. My little sister Mary is 2. My mom, Lara (coincidence, yay!), says this:

Breakfast- cereal with milk and banana, pancakes and applesauce and peanut butter, oatmeal, or breakfast sausage. She hates eggs.

Lunch- PB & J, grilled cheese, lots of veggies, chicken, pizza, it varies...

Dinner- whatever we are having, BUT she will not eat eggs, spicy things, and doesn't like pasta very much. Loves olives and wierd things like that.

Snacks- crackers, apples and peanut butter, crackers and cheese, olives, carrot sticks, etc.

For dessert or a special treat she gets a popsicle, italian ice, maybe ice cream if we have it. Usually her regular 'dessert' type thing is strawberries or blueberries in milk, sprinkled with a little sugar.

  10. Breakfast

*Always, organic whole milk yogurt. Some sort of fruit and a green smoothie to get things "moving" for the day. Sometimes a bit of cheerios and milk

    Snack

    Raisins and whole wheat crackers

    Lunch

Cut up fruit, like green apple or peach, whatever is in season, a protein, such as chicken or tuna, a fresh veggie, like 2 baby carrots, and iced water or cranberry juice

    Dinner

Always a protein, such as chicken breast or beef roast, fresh veggies, tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, avocado, broccoli, spinach (always fresh) and milk or water.

Snack: popcorn or whole wheat cracker and raisins or dried cranberry.

  11. My son is almost 2.

For breakfast he usually eats one of 3 things:

whole grain pancakes with either blueberries or strawberries

    frosted mini-wheats

plain oatmeal mixed w/ unsweetened applesauce

Plus milk or calcium fortified orange juice

For lunch he'll eat something like:

pb and fluff or jelly plus fruit

plain cottage cheese or yogurt plus a muffin bar and fruit

    chicken

    last night's leftovers

plus milk or water and maybe a 100-calorie pack of cheetos or cheez-its or goldfish

For snack (after nap around 4), any of the following:

fruit, cheese, 100-calorie pack of something, muffin bar

    water

For dinner he eats what I make for my husband and myself:

    spaghetti and meatballs

    chicken parm

    chicken with rice and broccoli

carrots and potatoes dipped in ketchup

    (these are his favorites)

    plus milk

He has a cup of chocolate milk before bed while we read books.

If we go out for a meal, he usually eats chicken and fruit or a vegetable, plus some french fries from somebody else's plate.
