  1. Any can work provided the story is consistent to the setting it depicts, and doesn't just pull powers, artifacts and other poor plot devices "out of nowhere" to get the protagonists where the author wants them to be, or to get the author out of a tight corner.

If there's magic, it should *cost* in some way, just like shifting a boulder does with muscles.

(A car is *magic transport* compared to walking, but you've got to keep putting fuel in...)

A world that simply doesn't make sense, in its own terms, wrecks everything.

  2. I really have no preference as to what gender the protagonist/antagonist is; I'm used to seeing the girls in the position of protagonist, however!

My favorite type of fantasy is anything involving magic.

  3. anything related to twilight!!!!

girl main character falls in love with a boy w/ a strange twist

  4. It depends on the events in the story on to decide whether I prefer the boy/girl as the protagonist/antagonist. As far as my favorite type of fantasy, I really enjoy magic and the such. I am not opposed to fairy tale creatures like vampires or werewolves by any means, either. I could live without the futuristic stuff, though. But that is just my opinion.
